VET CLOSED - 30 June 2010

First I would like to thank all the people that have been involved in VET Virtual over the years, you have been very appreciated and it has been a lot of fun and we all learnt a lot about online learning and education. And especially grateful to AARNET for their support over the last 12 months.

Secondly, thank you to all the teachers that have used VET Virtual over the years, I hope it has been a great benefit to you and given you the opportunity to dip your feet into online collaboration.

Why are we closing VET virtual?

We have been unable to secure the ongoing funding to provide this as a free service and Ricoshae Pty Ltd has been providing support for free during the last 5 months.

We are very sorry that we cannot continue this free service but it does cost money to keep a service up and running and we would also have liked to make some major improvements to VET Virtual, but again that costs time and money.

If you are interested in buying the Source Code for VET Virtual (Flex and Flash ) Versions then please feel free to contact me.

Again thank you for using VET Virtual and again, sorry that we cannot keep providing this as a free service.

This is a collegial and collaborative space, set up to trial the use of high capacity connectivity for real time teaching and meeting spaces for the VET sector as part of the Access to Bandwidth Project, which is part of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.

VET Virtual is all about communication and collaboration.
